<p>கிரிக்கெட்டின் கடவுள் என்று அழைக்கப்படுபவர் சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கர். முன்னாள் இந்திய கிரிக்கெட் வீரர், கிரிக்கெட் வரலாற்றில் தலைசிறந்த பேட்ஸ்மேன்களில் ஒருவராக கருதப்படுபவர். உலக கிரிக்கெட்டில் 100 சதங்கள் அடித்த ஒரே பேட்ஸ்மேன். சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கர் இந்திய அணி கிரிக்கெட் அணியின் முக்கியமான பேட்ஸ்மேனாக இருந்தார். மேலும், இவர் ஆஃப் ஸ்பின், லெக் ஸ்பின் மற்றும் மித வேகத்திலும் பந்து வீசும் திறமை கொண்டவர். சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கர் டெஸ்ட் மற்றும் ஒருநாள் கிரிக்கெட்டில் அதிக ரன்கள் குவித்தவர் என்ற சாதனையை படைத்துள்ளார். ‘மாஸ்டர் பிளாஸ்டர்’ என்று அழைக்கப்படும் சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கரின் பெயர், இந்தியாவில் மட்டுமல்ல, உலகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள பலரையும் இந்த விளையாட்டில் ஈடுபட தூண்டுகிறது, தூண்டியது. </p>
<p>இவர் கடந்த 2013ம் ஆண்டு இந்திய அணியில் ஓய்வுபெற்றதற்கு பிறகு, பல ஊர்கள், நாடுகளில் பயணம் மேற்கொண்டு ஓய்வு காலத்தை இன்பமாக அனுபவித்து வருகிறார். கடந்த திங்கள்கிழமை கூட இவர் அயோத்தியில் புதிதாக கட்டப்பட்ட ராமர் கோயிலின் திறப்பு விழாவில் பங்கேற்றார். அது கூட சமூக வலைதளங்களில் பெரும் சர்ச்சையை கிளப்பியது. </p>

<p>தேசிய சுற்றுலா தினத்தை கொண்டாடும் வகையில் சச்சின் வெளியிட்ட வீடியோவில், மகாராஷ்டிராவ்ல் உள்ள தடோபா புலிகள் காப்பத்திற்கு சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கர் சென்றுள்ளார். அங்கு மூன்று தலைமுறை புலிகள் நடந்து வரும் காட்சியை பகிர்ந்துள்ளார். இதுகுறித்து அவர் கொடுத்த கேப்ஷனில், “இந்த இயற்கை அதியசத்தை கண்டதில் எனக்கு மிகப்பெரிய பிரமிப்பு ஏற்பட்டது. தேசிய சுற்றுலா தினத்தை ஆரவாரத்துடன் கொண்டாடுகிறோம்! தடோபாவின், நான் 3 தலைமுறை புலிகளை பார்த்தேன். ஜூனா பாய் என்ற புலியின் குட்டி வீரா, வீராவின் குடிகள் என அனைவரையும் பார்த்தேன். இந்தியாவில் ஆராய பல இடங்கள் உள்ளன.” என்று பதிவிட்டு இருந்தார். </p>
<h2><strong>சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கர் ஓய்வு: </strong></h2>
<p>கடந்த 2012 ஆண்டு மார்ச் 18ம் தேதி இங்கிலாந்துக்கு எதிரான ஆட்டத்திற்குப் பிறகு, சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கர் டி20 மற்றும் ஒருநாள் வடிவத்தில் இருந்து ஓய்வு பெறுவதாக அறிவித்தார். இருப்பினும், அவர் தொடர்ந்து டெஸ்ட் கிரிக்கெட் விளையாடினார். இறுதியாக, கடந்த 2013 ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 13ம் தேதி சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கரின் 24 ஆண்டுகால நீண்ட மற்றும் புகழ்பெற்ற கிரிக்கெட் வாழ்க்கை முடிவுக்கு வந்தது. சச்சின் தனது கடைசி டெஸ்ட் போட்டியில் வெஸ்ட் இண்டீஸ் அணிக்கு எதிராக தனது சொந்த மைதானமான மும்பை வான்கடே மைதானத்தில் விளையாடி கடைசி இன்னிங்சில் 74 ரன்கள் எடுத்தார். </p>
